Motherhood photography for those who want to remember it all.

Oh, the early days with a newborn were so incredible and from memory a little exhausting too. But they are the kind of f moments you want to soak up and keep forever and EVER. I am sure you have heard the good old saying of how fast time flies when you have kids?? Well, I am here to tell you it is 100% true! They really are only little for a short period of time.

A few years ago when we had our first bub I booked a newborn session with my photographer. I remember very clearly telling her we wanted just photos of the baby and maybe a few of our hands with him, but we did not want any photos of us.

In my head, I thought there was NO way I wanted photos of myself looking tired just after I had gone through labour. I was actually really shocked when she turned around and told me I would regret not being in the photos and that it was a memory I would want to look back on one day. So I agreed to be in some photos.

Today, my firstborn is 5 years old, goes to school and has the biggest attitude, and also loves to cuddle. I can not tell you how important those photos of the 3 of us are to me now. Honestly, I feel like 5 years have flown and the emotions and memories I feel when I look at those photos fill my soul. Sounds deep I know.

ALSO, every time I look at those photos I now think about how fresh-faced and young I looked, the complete opposite of what I thought at the time.

The moral of the story, you will one day regret not capturing this time, so make sure you take the time to do it before it’s too late.

let’s talk about..

The Newborn Haze

Kind Words

β€œI love how it was all natural and you were just able to get the right angle and make it work. We just felt so comfortable and really enjoyed it!

We are absolutely in LOVE with our photos. My Mum wants to print them all and put them on her wall!”

How do we plan out your session?

My number one goal here is for us to plan out a session that is truly unique to you, I want the images to tell your story. To begin the planning stage we will look at a few starting questions to help us lock in a date and time for your session.

Once we have locked in the time and date, the next step is a little online questionnaire to help get to know more about you and what this session truly means and represents to you.

Then the final step in the process is working out the styling and outfits, you know the fun stuff!

Who should I invite to my session?

This a question I often get asked and one that can truely change the vibe and outcome of your images. There is really no generic answer for everything so I have popped together a few options.

Extra FAQ’s

Just a few extra questions I often get asked, but please if you have any more then I am only an email away!

I also offer Bump to Bub packages to combine both your sessions and spread out your payments.
